Several of our residents enjoyed a quintessential Cornish Cream Tea in a secluded private garden this week. Tucked away beneath the trees, this hidden retreat provided the perfect setting to while away an idyllic afternoon with friends, surrounded by dappled sunshine and the sound of birdsong. It was a properly peaceful afternoon filled with delicious…
A couple of our residents enjoyed a visit to the National Coastwatch at St. Agnes Head recently and thoroughly enjoyed learning all about their work. With over 60 stations around the coast, they work alongside HM Coastguard, the RNLI and other emergency services to help save lives at sea and around the coastline. The weather…
Every week, residents enjoy a fun exercise session with Adam, staying active and managing to smile throughout. We have a monthly program of activities alongside trips out in our Perran Bay van – affectionally known as The Bat Mobile!
We had glorious sunshine for our trip to Padstow. Residents enjoyed a pasty by the harbour and a walk around the shops. What a great day out.
Some of our residents had a day out at Trelissick last week. Lucky with the weather, they had a great time exploring the gardens and admiring this superb view across the River Fal. There was time for a trip to the cafe too of course!
We really enjoyed our session with Bucket Beats. Plenty of noise in the house and an opportunity to bash out the winter blues on these plastic drums. Great fun!
We’re getting into the Christmas spirit here at Perran Bay! Check out the beautifully decorated Christmas cakes that our wonderful chefs have prepared, ready for the festive celebrations ahead. The decorations are up, and this year we’re excited to have not just one, but three Christmas trees adding extra sparkle to our home.
The Perran Bay Christmas Fair is being held on Saturday 22nd November at 2pm in Perran Bay itself. Gifts, food, carols and a raffle. We’re also excited that we will have a visit from Father AND Mother Christmas!
