Keeping Active at Perran Bay

Our Team

Our dedicated Well-Being Team, along with volunteers from The Friends of Perran Bay, work together to provide a variety of activities for our residents. These may be within our Home or trips in the local area; perhaps a pint at the pub or an ice-cream on the prom – we will find something you enjoy! We have a large vehicle that enables us to venture further afield; theatre shows in Truro, shopping at Fraddon and days out with a picnic are always popular. Professionals and entertainers visit us here so you might enjoy a sing-along one day, Perran Bay Readers Bookclub the next and a hand pamper the next! Other activities include Bingo, The Afternoon Quiz, flower arranging, board games and Cheese and Wine Evenings.

Our volunteers run an in-house shop every Wednesday morning and our onsite hairdressing salon is open on Thursday and Friday. Communion is held on the first Wednesday of the month.

Summer Fair 2026

Our Perran Bay Summer Fair will be held on Friday August 14th 2026 from 2pm. We’ll have games, raffle, new-to-you clothes, plants, books and a coconut shy as well as cakes and refreshments.
