Some of our residents were out enjoying a pint of Guinness this morning, to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.
Ho! Ho! Ho! Some of our residents took a trip to the garden centre this week and enjoyed a bit of Christmas shopping followed by hot chocolate and mince pies in the cafe.
To celebrate 75 years of Perran Bay we have produced a calendar for 2025. It’s just £5 and comes with an envelope, ready to be posted off to friends and family. Available from Perran Bay reception.
We’re delighted to share that two, yes TWO, members of our staff are winners in the 2024 Proud to Care Awards for Cornwall. Charley is Care Home Worker of the Year and Ellie, who looks after our wonderful gardens, was the winner in the Hidden Treasure category. We couldn’t be prouder.

Starting at 10am, we’ll have a wonderful selection of tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes for you to enjoy. After a few false starts, it seems summer has finally arrived here in Perranporth. The beach is packed with visitors and residents are enjoying the views from our sheltered deck.
The Sun Lounge at Perran Bay has been beautifully redecorated with a lovely fresh feel. Residents have been enjoying the modern furnishings and subtle calming tones that mirror the wonderful sea views outside. We’re extremely proud of this room where everyone can relax and enjoy the seaviews.
Cream Teas, Cakes and Cheers to Us, as Perran Bay celebrates 75 years of care. We’ve had a wonderful weekend of events to mark our 75th birthday with a Hog Roast on Saturday and a Church Service followed by a huge Cream Tea on Sunday. We even had a birthday cake!
