Every week, residents enjoy a fun exercise session with Adam, staying active and managing to smile throughout. We have a monthly program of activities alongside trips out in our Perran Bay van – affectionally known as The Bat Mobile!
Halloween fun and knitting hats for premature babies. We had a stall at the local Christmas Fete selling goodies made by our residents.
Summer Fete. What a lovely day with so many friends. We had a trip to the Boating Lake and were visited by the Scripture Union.
MARCH What a variety, Debbie got us to knit Chicks for Easter, we made Easter bonnets, an Indian evening, when some of dressed up and families joined us, lovely food too.
Perranporth Coop support Perran Bay Thanks go to our local Co-op store & staff for naming Perran Bay in their regular charitable fundraising activities. We were both thrilled and surprised to receive a donation of £198. All monies were raised through local people supporting us. The money raised will go towards activities for the Residents.
Ho! Ho! Ho! Some of our residents took a trip to the garden centre this week and enjoyed a bit of Christmas shopping followed by hot chocolate and mince pies in the cafe.
Happy St Piran’s Day! Our dining room is covered in Cornish bunting and we’ve made pasties to eat for lunch. We’ll need our thinking caps on later as there’s a Cornish Quiz to test our knowledge of the county. Our day will be rounded off with a Cornish Cream Tea. Jam first – obviously!
