Every week, residents enjoy a fun exercise session with Adam, staying active and managing to smile throughout. We have a monthly program of activities alongside trips out in our Perran Bay van – affectionally known as The Bat Mobile!
Sometimes all that’s needed is a helping hand. Adam, from Form and Focus, runs an Armchair Exercise class at Perran Bay every week. Plenty of movement and stretches to get us ready for the week ahead.
MARCH What a variety, Debbie got us to knit Chicks for Easter, we made Easter bonnets, an Indian evening, when some of dressed up and families joined us, lovely food too.
Residents have been spending time painting the view from our Sun Lounge. As ever, Perranporth Beach is very popular in the summer sunshine and we love this colourful image that really seems to capture how busy the sand is on an August afternoon.
More day trips and some in house entertainment. Our oldest resident, Alice, meets Linda’s Granddaughter. We tried our hands making Corn Dollies, but they were very fiddly. Our Art Group produced some lovely pictures. Loveday had such a wonderful day for her 100th Birthday. Her family organised a party, then two trips to the Hall…
Thanks to everyone who supported our Perran Bay Spring Coffee Morning. What a successful event! Delicious cakes, a well stocked raffle and entertaining fun and games, all in the April sunshine.
We enjoyed listening to the choir that visited us. Our Gardens are looking beautiful thanks to Tracy and her hard work. The Sunset Bar called us! Then we went for a paddle in the sea. A lovely sunny day meant another trip to the beach in the special beach wheelchairs available from the Perranporth Gardens…
