This week, some of our residents enjoyed the Spring sunshine and explored The Saints Trail, which follows the route of the old branch line railway. Staff accompanied them all the way from Perranporth to Goonhavern. A glorious day out for everyone involved.
Some of our residents had a day out at Trelissick last week. Lucky with the weather, they had a great time exploring the gardens and admiring this superb view across the River Fal. There was time for a trip to the cafe too of course!
Glorious Sunshine for our day out. Some of our staff and residents enjoyed a trip to Stithians Show this week and had a wonderful time watching equestrian events, learning about preparation for a dog show and sampling local produce.
The Sun Lounge at Perran Bay has been beautifully redecorated with a lovely fresh feel. Residents have been enjoying the modern furnishings and subtle calming tones that mirror the wonderful sea views outside. We’re extremely proud of this room where everyone can relax and enjoy the seaviews.
We enjoyed a full morning of exercise with boxing, football and Tai Chi followed by some stretching. Keepy Uppy with the balloon was our favourite challenge! We were definitely ready for a cup of tea afterwards.
Queen’s Birthday Celebration On June 10th many friends and family of Perran Bay joined us for a party to celebrate the Queen’s Birthday. Residents have been spending time painting the view from our Sun Lounge. As ever, Perranporth Beach is very popular in the summer sunshine and we love this colourful image that really seems to capture how busy the sand is on an August afternoon.
