We needed an early visit to the beach, just to make sure it’s still there and it was Alice’s 101st Birthday too.
A visit to the swans was also required.
Making heads at the Memory Cafe, was a lot of fun, not sure who I’m like though, later in the year all in Perran Bay were able to make heads too, they [the heads] were very funny.
Santa’s little helpers came to get us in the Christmas Spirit. Cynthia found AJ from X Factor again. Linda came back from London with a Comic Relief Award. Summer Fete. What a lovely day with so many friends. We had a trip to the Boating Lake and were visited by the Scripture Union.
Snakes and pickled onions and owls. We’ve had a Harvest Service with Rev S Clarke, started preparing jars of pickled onions for Christmas, visited Quintrell Downs Garden Centre and had some unusual animals visit us.
Enjoying the views from our deck. Our decking area is great for “people watching” and has fantastic views across the beach so we’ve spent several afternoons outside. Some of us visited St Agnes Museum and saw the famous Lady Agnes figurehead on display there.
We had glorious sunshine for our trip to Padstow. Residents enjoyed a pasty by the harbour and a walk around the shops. What a great day out.
Halloween fun and knitting hats for premature babies. We had a stall at the local Christmas Fete selling goodies made by our residents.
