Lisa from Chacewater Garden Centre visited Perran Bay, she works there with the small reptiles and snake. So she duly arrived with a number of different species which the residents were able to handle, I’m not sure if the Care Manager planned her absence to coincide with this visit, but the residents very much enjoyed the opportunity to handle these animals.

5th July

A number of the residents from Perran Bay enjoyed a visit to Chacewater Garden Centre, where they were able once again to see the reptiles and snakes, and this time to enjoy a tea there as well. Looking at the pictures, there was some hilarity over a model pig, we may never find out what was so funny!! They also wanted to bring back a water feature with them!

    Perranporth Coop support Perran Bay Thanks go to our local Co-op store & staff for naming Perran Bay in their regular charitable fundraising activities. We were both thrilled and surprised to receive a donation of £198. All monies were raised through local people supporting us. The money raised will go towards activities for the Residents.

    This week, some of our residents enjoyed the Spring sunshine and explored The Saints Trail, which follows the route of the old branch line railway. Staff accompanied them all the way from Perranporth to Goonhavern. A glorious day out for everyone involved.
