CASHE Award evening

Linda and Diane had been shortlisted by the CAHSE[Cornwall Care & Support]

for their first ever Care Awards, for ‘Excellence in Leadership‘.

The award night was at Eden on Friday 28th October.

A few of us went to the presentation evening, two of our own residents,

Loveday and Ernie, had been chosen to be part of the selection panel,

to help select the person for the ‘Unsung Hero Award’.

The person they nominated took the award for that category.

Ernie & Loveday had a wonderful evening, some of you saw them ‘dressed up’ before they went and how splendid they looked too, they really ‘flew the flag’ for Perran Bay.

Snakes and pickled onions and owls. We’ve had a Harvest Service with Rev S Clarke, started preparing jars of pickled onions for Christmas, visited Quintrell Downs Garden Centre and had some unusual animals visit us.

Residents have been spending time painting the view from our Sun Lounge. As ever, Perranporth Beach is very popular in the summer sunshine and we love this colourful image that really seems to capture how busy the sand is on an August afternoon.
